Making All-out Efforts in Compiling and Publishing the Middle School Textbooks of Science ——An analysis of the Physics Textbook(Scientific edition, for 9th Graders )

The production of quality textbook is a must for guarantee of middle school education. Therefore, an in-depth understanding is need, which is: the middle school textbook is the name card of a country's education and culture and the fundamental assurance for middle school education; textbooks are criterions and standards, which need to be standardized and accurate in an all-round way; the compiling and publishing of a textbook is no small matter, which requires us to care the smallest details; the revision of the science textbooks needs to care and perfect the details. After a careful reading of the revised edition of the Physics textbook for 9th graders, places in need of revision are pointed out and correspondent counter measures are suggested: the compiling and publishing of science textbooks need to be responsible for the students, the society and the history; the language must be concise, accurate; the content be scientific and the pictures used be clear and distinct; the revision job must be strengthened and conform strictly to norms.
