    Effect of Different Ce3+/Tb3+-doping Concentration on Fluorescent Properties of LaPO4:Ce3+/Tb3+ Crystals

    • LaPO4:Ce3+/Tb3+ fluorescent crystals were successfully synthesized by solvothermal method at 150 ℃ for 12 h. The statistics of XRD showed that the LaP04:Ce3+/Tb3+(PDF 84-0600)Crystals thus prepared are of a hexagonal system. The optimal molar ratio of the composite particles is nLa3+:nCe3+:nTb3+=6:3:1 when the pH of the solution was 9.0. By means of fluorescence spectra, it is easy to find that the strongest excitation peak for LaP04:Ce3+/Tb3+ appears at 270 nm, and the strongest emission peak is found at 545nm which corresponds to the 5D4→7F5 transition of Tb3+
