BIM-Based Anchored Instruction Model in the Major of the Engineering Cost

To resolve differences existing between professional education and practical application of engineering cost majors, based on the characteristics of the Engineering Cost Major, an anchored instruction Model is founded on the basis of BIM. By using the characteristics of BIM, the real and complicated process of construction is displayed in the classroom by taking advantage of its tool softwares, and by using the abundant BIM information resources, BIM is used as a platform to construct learning communities, thus the students could center on the real construction process, through exploration, consultation and mutual help, their knowledge and skills can well be transferred in the practice, which rather successfully rids of the problem of theory going out of practice
