Abstract
The various teaching patterns of life-oriented writing basically include subject consideration, scope determination, material selection, expression and revision. They stress the priority and domination of subject in the writing the same theoretical basis of writing and philosophy. In this sense, they belong to the same kind type of writing teaching — subject-oriented one. Such type is dominated among current life-oriented writing teaching. Though it is criticized and queried by some researchers and teachers at the first front of teaching, its dominated status has not been shaken. This paper has analyzed the limitations and negative influences of such type in an attempt to speed up its development and the innovation of life-oriented writing teaching.
