On Thoughts of Civic Education in the Republic of China

Before the Republic of China, there were only thoughts of civic education, but no practice. Afterwards, the educational circle began to advocate such education. And people established the educational connotation and aim, explored educational methods and means, made the principles and standards for it, and made reflections and guidance to its practice.
