Abstract
To explore the relationship between amatory satisfaction and covert narcissism among college students, 334 college students from Neijiang Normal University were assessed by the Narcissistic Personality Inventory Mode and Lock-Wallace marriage-debugging questionnaire. The variance analysis showed that: there is some difference in sex, grade and major in term of the covert narcissism in college students, with the boys being more covertly narcissistic than girls; the lower graders’ being obviously more narcissistic than higher graders; and students of Liberal Arts being more covertly narcissistic than their peers of Science. Correlation analysis finds that: there exists a significantly negative correlation between covert narcissism and amatory satisfaction, and the same thing happens in between the Vulnerability, Entitlement and Amatory Satisfaction, while there is a rather low negative correlation observed between self-admiration and amatory satisfaction. The regression analysis showed that the covert narcissism can negatively predict the amatory satisfaction.
