    • The novel Da Bois the only work that positively describes the 1911 Revolution in Sichuan. And those novels like Before the Storm and Light Waves in a Dead Pond narrate the stories with the history as their background, while Da Bo takes self experience as the main clue, and it tells some important historical events as the origin and development of the Railway Protection Crisis and the storm of 1911 Revolution. In addition, it has described the boring and file like historical events into the vivid literary narration with the writer specific styles. The large amount of official documents and telegraphs help to increase the sense that one seems to be on the scene. The author describes the real local history and life in Sichuan in the historical novel which seems to be vivid.
