On“Wall” and Females and Males in and out of It: A Brief Study of Image of Wall in Love Description in Novels and Dramas in Ancient China
In novels or dramas of ancient China concerning love, we can find a universal phenomenon: description of walls. However, such phenomenon has very deep cultural connotations because “wall” has become a kind of images, and it has exerted great influence on popular culture and young people’s love and marriage in ancient China.
