A Probe into the Impact of JIA Yi’s Prose

JIA Yi’s prose has exerted a long and profound influence on the creation since Western Han Dynasty. The political and historical essays of famous writers like CAO Zhi, LU Ji, WEI Zheng, LU Shi, DU Mu, WANG An-shi, SU Xun, SU Zhe, HU Quan, XIN Qi-ji and CHEN Liang, all helped to prove that they had benefited from articles of Western Han Dynasty, especially JIA Yi’s prose in one way or another, and had evolved to different degrees. The creation and commentaries of HAN Yu and SU Shi not only showed that they had many similarities, but infused new things into the creation of ancient literature and theories.
