    On Writers’ Capital Complex in Tang Dynasty

    • With the Confucius active spirit of entering society, the intellectuals in Tang Dynasty went to Chang’an, the capital, to seek their political way-out. They all longed for the capital and intended to make some great achievements here, which later changed into the capital complex. From the reluctance to leave Chang’an and the mixed feelings of the poets who were banished from the capital, and their longing for Chang’an, we may see that most writers had deep yeaning for the capital like sunflowers which always face the sun.
