    • The practicality is the fundamental feature of mother-tongue curriculum. In foreign countries, such practicality mainly lies in that the curriculum is oriented by improving the linguistic ability, and it stresses the importance of the students’ linguistic practicality for forming their ability, the compilation of the textbooks highlights the practicality, and the linguistic education pays much attention to the practical activities. The research into the practicality of mother-tongue curriculum in foreign countries contributes to the reflections of and hence the solution to the practical problems of Chinese curriculum.
