On the Developing Trend of the Competitive Marshal Art of the Long Punch Techniques

By adopting methods like the literature review, questionnaire, logic analysis, mathematical statistics, video analysis and comparative analysis, an statistical analysis is made of the long punch techniques of the Chinese marshal arts in the matches since the 1990s. In combination with the newly-adopted rules, the layout of Taolu, technique content, difficulty degree and requirements for performance, the developing trend of the long punch skills is put under exploration. Its result shows that the trend is characterized by high quality, high difficulty index, high artistic beauty and novelty layout of Taolu.
