Abstract
Taking primary and secondary school teachers as the research subjects, 757 teachers were questionnaired for the strategies they applied in the process of constructing mental educational alliance in the course of educating students. Results show that: 1) the principal strategies for the construction of educational alliance include the following five: warmth, respect, genuineness, empathy and positive regard. 2) such construction strategies are relatively strong in its usability and applicability. 3)for the primary school teachers, those with a choleric temperament are good at the use of genuineness strategy, while teachers with a melancholic temperament are skilled at using empathy and positive-regard strategy. 4) the length of teaching career has quite different influence upon teachers’ use of the strategies like warmth and genuineness
