    Study on the Rapid Propagation Technology for Mini- Cucumber

    • The rapid propagation technology of Mini-Cucumkber was studied in this experiment for reducing cost of seedings, in which adventitious busd were used to be experimental materials.Effects of different hormone treatments on the inductivity, proliferation and rooting of the adventitious mini-cucumber buds in vitro were investigated, using MS as the basic culture medium. Results show that MS+0.3mg/L 6-BA+0.05mg/L IAA as the basic medium produces a quite satisfying effect in term of the inductivity of adventitious bud, and MS+0.2mg/L 6-BA+0.05mg/L IAA was the ideal medium for the proliferation of adventitious bud, while 1/2MS+0.2mg/L IAA was pretty satisfactory in rooting with the rooting rate reaching up to 98% and a strongly developed root system.
