    On the Orientation of Rural Teachers’ Education Curricula in China

    • Rural teachers are the guarantee for the teaching quality in rural areas. At present, the unsteadiness of rural teachers is the bottle neck for the development of rural education. With the improvement of management system and investment system for rural education, and the implementation of free enrollment of normal students, our country has already provided the system guarantee for the rural teachers. However, we think it is far from enough to depend only on government’s regulation. We need to strengthen the training of rural teachers and the reformation of their educational curricula. Further, we can open the courses concerning countryside in an attempt to improve teachers’ rural feelings. In a word, the rural teachers’ educational curricula should be characterized with countryside and farming consciousness.
