    On the Development of Scientific Inquiry Ability in Primary Pre-service Science Teachers

    • Scientific inquiry, being an important part of the science education, is also the chief content in the education of primary pre-service science teachers. Through the analysis of the problems existing in the understanding of scientific inquiry among pre-service primary science teachers, some coping strategies were put forth, such as the establishment of teachers education community, the development of new curriculums, introspection of inquiry activities and the set-up of an evaluation system, all of which are done in the hope of shedding some light for the future training of primary pre-service science teachers in our country.
