SWOT-PEST-based Analysis of MICE Tourism in Chongqing and the Countermeasures

The rapid development of the exhibition industry has greatly boosted the prosperity of MICE tourism. As the youngest municipality directly under the central government, Chongqing boasts its exceptionally rich resources in the development of MICE tourism. Therefore，by adopting the SWOT-PEST method, an analysis was made of the MICE tourism in Chongqing, on the basis of which a series of suggestions are given for prompting MICE tourism development in Chongqing.
