Reflection on the Tradition of Modern National Physical Education

Abstract:An in-depth analysis is made about the standing point concerning the connotation of the modern national physical education traditions at different times. It is conducive to get a clearer picture of the history of our P.E. traditions and the current cultural difference. An objective understanding of the variation in the definition of “tradition” and its epochal character and grasp of its basic traits are of great help for us to reach the consensus, namely, the modernization of the national traditional sports is in essence the modernization of our culture.
