Mechanisms, Practical Challenges and Coping Strategies of Generative Artificial Intelligence Empowering the Normalization and Institutionalization of Ideals and Convictions Education in Institutions of Higher Education

The iterative upgrading of AI technology has triggered profound transformations across various social sectors. Within the context of an intelligent society, the traditional model for education of ideals and convictions are facing structural challenges. Generative AI fuels the normalization and institutionalization of such education in universities by enhancing its daily integration, continuity, interactivity, and long-term effectiveness. However, the practical application gives rise to multiple challenges. These include algorithmic bias that undermines the guiding role of the education, cognitive bias that limits its depth, and technological dependence that weakens the leading position of educational subjects. Therefore, to effectively mitigate these challenges, we should counteract the infiltration of algorithmic bias, establish a mechanism for precise educational supply, and improve teachers’ digital literacy. These measures will promote the education’s normalized and institutionalized development, thereby forging consensus of minds for the further comprehensive reform and promotion of Chinese modernization.
