Bamboo slips of Chu State in Guodian contain rich moral education thoughts, covering topics such as loyalty and trustworthiness, filial piety and brotherly respect, and esteeming the virtuous. These reflect the characteristics of moral education, such as attaching importance upon moral education, putting people first, integrating education and entertainment, making oneself a good example, and being cautious in speech and action. By studying and drawing from the moral education thoughts found in the bamboo slips and applying them to contemporary moral education practices, it is beneficial for innovating moral education content, optimizing moral education methods, enhancing the effectiveness of moral education, and promoting the improvement and development of moral education.
