Calling in Question “Doub t” ———Around Recording in Qianqingtang’s Catalogue

The scholar of Qing Dynasty Huang Yuji put the novel A Journey to the West by WuCheng’en under the “ Geographic Class”in his work Qianqingtang’s Catalogue,which served as the reason why Mr.Zhang Peiheng negated Wu as the writer of the novel.As a matter of fact,Huang’s work in terms of classification is not so perfect.It seems to lack carefulconsideration to take such a work with flaws as the theoretical foundation.Accordingly,it is not so fair to negate WuCheng’en.
