    Design of Project-Driven GIS Integrated Experimental Teaching Pattern

    • The experimental teaching, as an important part of the geographic information system course, if its integrated experimental teaching project is properly and practically designed, can immensely improve the teaching effect.Based on the constructivism teaching theory, the GIS comprehensive experiment teaching design was established which takes the teacher as the directing force, the student as the executant, and the project as the driving force.At the same time, according to the teaching objectives, the specific teaching implementation processes for the GIS comprehensive experimental project-driven design were worked out.Furthermore, the teaching model was divided into 3 parts:project task, independent project realization and project achievement evaluation.In the specific implementation process, by using the heuristic teaching method and inquiry learning, it could not only cultivate students’ professional ability but also improve students’ practical ability and foster their innovative spirit.
