The Thought of“Great Unification” in Rhyming Essays and Poems of Han Dynasties———A Case Study of Zixu Fu, Shanglin Fu and The19 Songs of Suburban Sacrifice

All the three works Zixu Fu, Shanglin Fu and The19 Songs of Suburban Sacrifice have manifested the thought of“great unification” of Han Dynasties. The first two just describe the sacrifice-offering and respect to God and ex- press the vigour and prestige of the Dynasties with“great unification”. While the last one can be classified into sacrifice-offering poem, lyrics for the solar terms and songs for the propitiousness. They correspond to the procedure of sacrifice-offering and re- spect to God and depiction of orientation, seasons and propitious things in the first two works. These three works share a lot of similarities in both structure and content.
