The Thought of“Great Unification” in Rhyming Essays and Poems of Han Dynasties———A Case Study of Zixu Fu, Shanglin Fu and The19 Songs of Suburban Sacrifice

    • All the three works Zixu Fu, Shanglin Fu and The19 Songs of Suburban Sacrifice have manifested the thought of“great unification” of Han Dynasties. The first two just describe the sacrifice-offering and respect to God and ex- press the vigour and prestige of the Dynasties with“great unification”. While the last one can be classified into sacrifice-offering poem, lyrics for the solar terms and songs for the propitiousness. They correspond to the procedure of sacrifice-offering and re- spect to God and depiction of orientation, seasons and propitious things in the first two works. These three works share a lot of similarities in both structure and content.
