Technical Analysis of the Relay of Baton in the Forward-pushing Style of Relay Race

By use of literature review and based on the characteristics analysis, the comparative advantages of the forward pushing skill of relay baton are discussed from the three aspects of continuous rapid movements control, the one time rapid movement control and the comparison of visual control mode for different baton-giving and taking techniques. It is concluded that forward pushing relay baton skill is likely to replace the traditional skills of the upstroke relay skill and the under draught relay skill, and thus to become a cutting edge skill.
