On the Construction and Service of Library Literature InformationResources in Newly-established Local Colleges and Universities

Library construction of literature information resources in colleges and universities is to meet the needs of literature information from the readers, thus a case study of the Neijiang Normal University was done to find out about the library's collection of paper books, digital resources of foreign language, the comprehensive quality of cataloguers and the cataloguing quality, etc. In order to make a fuller use of the existing literature information resources, counter measures were proposed as follows: efforts be stepped up for the construction of literature information resources; the quality of paper books collection be enhanced; the categories of foreign language digital resources be diversified; the overall quality of cataloguers be improved and there thus to provide the readers with better service and better serve the teaching, scientific research and discipline construction.
