A Comparison between BA Jin's Travel Prose during the Period of Anti-Japanese War and That of JIN Yi

    • Both BA Jin and JIN Yi wrote a large amount of prose during the period of Anti-Japanese War. At the beginning of their creation, they had the common orientation that they intensified the function of prose as the propaganda weapon in the wartime. And they made their works take the great motivation with the strong emotional expression and documentary style. However, their creation changed a lot thereafter and was characterized by their own striking styles. In his calm observation, BA Jin fused his simple style into his life experience. And JIN Yi fully played the novelist's advantage of writing prose. He made vivid and humorous description of the ways of the world and human feelings. Meanwhile, he condensed his personal feelings in the world full of vitality. A re-interpretation of their works is of great significance for correcting the past uncertain arguments.
