    A Probe into the Teaching of Postcolonial Literature in UndergraduatePrograms for English Majors

    • The introduction to postcolonial literature can hardly be found in China's undergraduate programs for English majors. The Teaching practice has proved that such introduction is beneficial for students to expand their literary horizon and reread the traditional English literary works critically; in the language teaching, reading postcolonial literary works helps students better know and learn different English variants; the teaching of culture should use the cultural criticism and anti-discourse hegemony in postcolonial culture for reference to resist the influence of cultural colonization from Western countries.
