Sprouting and Prosperity of the Underlying Narration inTraditional Chinese Novels ——A Case Study of Nie Yin-niang and A Dream of Red Mansions

When it found its rudiment in legends of Tang Dynasty, the underlying narration became increasingly mature with time. To Ming and Qing Dynasties, novels with chapters appeared in a large amount. And with the increase of texts amount, the underlying narration grew and expanded in its frequentness and scope of use. And it was used vastly and subtly in A Dream of Red Mansions, and reached its peak in traditional Chinese novels.
