On the Demeanor of Wei-Jin Times from a Perspective of HermitImages inThe Romance of the Three Kingdoms

    • The novel The Romance of the Three Kingdoms has described magnificent scenes of wars. In addition, it has molded a group of self-contained, free and ease, and nature-worshiped hermits. Though these hermits in the novel get little description, their speech, behavior, appearance, clothing and living environment are all characterized by the special cultural phenomenon of the time-Wei-Jin demeanor. This has infused the special cultural intension into the novel, and become a window to know more about the culture of that time. It has its unique cultural value.
