Abstract
The citizenization of the migrant rural workers is an inevitable choice in the development of China's urbanization. Therefore, after an analysis of the state policy, individual aspiration and current demands, it is concluded that to buy a city house is a must for the rural migrant workers which is decided by both the objective factors and subjective demands. And the problem of purchasing a house is studied: the purchase of a house drains the family income so that the money they earn in the cities can not be adequate for them to live decently in there and the lagging policies have further increased the living cost which may result in long-term hidden risks for the generations to come. It is thus suggested that the rural property right be activated so that the rural workers could have easier access to cities with their asset; a wider range of housing sources be developed to relieve the purchasing burdens for the rural workers; the city-countryside integration be pushed forward so as to optimize the safeguard system for them; the sharing mechamism be further exploree to safeguard the workers to become a permanent city resident; a correct publicity guidance be stuck to so as to guard against the anti-urbanization shock and the construction of a moderately well-off society could be achieved in the year of 2020.
