Abstract
By the combined use of the electronic balance and Jolly balance, improvement is made to the college physics textbook experiment, which uses the “Jolly balance pulling-escape method to measure the liquid surface tension coefficient. An actual measurement of the surface tension is conducted of the sucrose solution, NaCl solution, the results of which are consistent with the theoretical analysis, indicating that the improved experiment method is feasible, and at the same time a detailed cause analysis is made of the errors found in the experiment.
