The Construction of Mathematic Model of College Students' Physical Health Based on Discriminant Analysis

Applying the methods of measurement and mathematical statistics to the students(Grades2007,2008)of Wenhua College, Huazhong University of Science and Technology, a physical health quality test was conducted in contrast with the National Health Standards for Physical Fitness of Students so as to find out about students' health condition in the 6 dimensions like their body height, body weight. After giving a statistical processing of the data gained, a cluster analysis and discriminant analysis were done so as to work out a physical health evaluation analysis model for the students. A validity test finds the new model is of a rather high scientificalness and of practical value.
