Abstract: In the new poetry history of one hundred years, the romanticism of GUO Mo-ruo's Goddess has been quite striking. But objectively speaking, the work has not fully reflected the essence of the Western Romanticism. And it has shown some misunderstanding of the artistic ideas of the Western Romanticism in humanistic ambition, choice of subject matters, emotional connotations.
