Abstract:
There has always been a problem of time consuming and low efficiency in the teaching of Intensive English Reading course for students’ lack of motivation and learning ability. Therefore, it is highly significant to implement inquiry learning in the teaching for English majors. Through analyzing the applicability of implementing inquiry learning in the teaching of Intensive English Reading course and combining interactive teaching method, cooperative and autonomous learning, this paper has made an attempt to optimize the effect of Intensive English Reading course to improve the quality of English intensive reading teaching
