Abstract: The correlation between psychological pressure characteristics and mental health about the needy college students in Guizhou is put under examination. Significant differences, in terms of the five factors concerning the psychological pressure, are found in gender, grade, discipline, mother’s education, whether or not a part-time time student, whether or not an only child(P＜0.05＝. No significance is found in the source place of the student, the educational degree of the student’s father in the same regard(P＞0.05). A positive correlation is found in between the five factors of psychological stress and the nine factors of mental health. The five factors of psychological stress have different predictive power to the nine factors of mental health.
