Abstract: From the perspective of the connotation of the campus field and track event culture, an analysis is made of the current status of the field and track event teaching in higher institutions of vocational technologies in Anhui, which reveals the major problems faced with are as follows: the damage of the basic sports image; the deviation from the goal of talent training in the field and track event courses. Counter measure are further put forth to reform the course on the basis of the cultural perspective; to enhance the teachers’ cultural quality via the establishment of cultural concept; to examine the value of times in combination with the characteristics of vocational talents production; to establish the dominant position of the students by means of changing our out-of-date ideas; to recreationalize classroom teaching so as to breathe new life into the vocational education.
