    Analysis on Geographic Distribution and Host Specificity of Trichodina reticulata Hirschman & Partsch, 1955

    • 摘要: 结合近十年来我国淡水车轮虫的相关研究资料研究了网状车轮虫Trichodina reticulata Hirschman & Partsch, 1955的形态分类学与种群多样性、地理分布及宿主特异性.结果表明:网状车轮虫是世界性分布的鱼类外寄生纤毛虫,集中分布在南、北温带地区的暖水区域;不同种群网状车轮虫的虫体表现出的形态学变异与宿主和水温的变化相关;网状车轮虫不表现为寄主和寄生部位的专一性.

       

      Abstract: The morphological taxonomy, geographic distribution and host specificity of Trichodina reticulata Hirschman & Partsch, 1955 were studied based on the freshwater trichodinid materials of recent ten years in China. The result indicates that Trichodina reticulata is one of the parasitic ciliates which are commonly found on the earth, with a concentrating distribution alongthe warm water areas between the south and north temperate zones. The morphological variation observed in different species of Trichodina reticulata exhibits a correlation between the host and the water temperature. In addition, Trichodina reticulata does not display any specificity to its host and parasitic locality.
