Abstract: Abstract:〖WT5”BZ〗 Based on the measurement of the industrial output and electricity consumption in different industries, and by means of SSM (Shift-Share Model), an analysis is made of the power consumption level between the different provinces. Since the proportion of different industrial structures varies drastically, thus naturally, the level of the electric power utilization varies region to region, which in turn results in a quite different power consumption for every ten thousand yuan output and the regional competitiveness is also rather different. Based on the calculation results, regions with approximate competitive capacity were categorized into the same kind and corresponding suggestions were put forth.
