Abstract: The poetry collection Miscellaneous Verses of Kuizhou was the master piece in WANG Guang-qi’s early years. These poems made imitation of DU Fu’s lines concerning Kuizhou in employment of stories and description. Further, they have reflected the fact that WANG who inherited predecessors’ tradition of caring for the fate of our nation began to be mature in his poems. Referring to the social and historical background, his life and relevant literature, this paper has made an analysis on this work and it has revealed WANG’s life stories relevant to his ambitio.
