Abstract:

The results indicated that: Positive self-concept was positively associated with SWB; Negative self-concept was negatively associated with SWB and the coping style partially plays a mediating role in the effects the self-concept exerts over SWB. Conclusion: Self-Concept not only directly affects Subjective Well-being, but also exerts an indirect effect over SWB through the mediation of coping styles.
