Abstract: We may find sixty images which can be classified into 16 kinds in LI Yu’s over 30 lyrics. Among them, the images of figures, buildings, nature and color are the most. The choice of images was closely related with his life experiences. The change of LI’s life brought about the one in the images of his lyrics. And the choice of the images contributed a lot to the formation of his writing styles
