Abstract: I Fei-yu’s novel creation has undergone changes of narrative styles from the early interest in the quest for historical meanings to the attention to the life, and then to the probe into people’s inner world. Such changes show the writer’s return to human orientation and the transformation of his values and aesthetic interest.
