Abstract: reading era emerges when more and more people do reading online or through mobile devices like mobile phones or portable readers. In such a context, university libraries should keep up with times and come to recognize the co-existence of the traditional paper-based reading and digital reading. Effort must be made to accumulate intellectual resources, especially scholarly resources and professional literature. Moreover, to upgrade our service and give enough attention to off-campus reading service are also of vital importance.
