Abstract: Nuclear family is a major type of the current Chinese families, whose life cycle can be subdivided into six stages. On the basis of defining the connotation of family sports at the empty-nest stage of a nuclear family, analysis is made about the implementation status for the six different stages with focus placed on the analysis of the value of family sports at the empty-nest stage during occupational tenure. Finally counter measures about how to conduct family sports in Empty-nest stage nuclear families of incumbency are put forth.
