Abstract:
By adopting the Teachers’ Professional Skills Consciousness Scale for Normal School Students, 1300 four-year and three-year program students from Jiaying University were taken as research subjects to investigate the teachers’ professional skills consciousness. The results show that: (1) the overall level of teachers’ professional skills consciousness in students is quite unsatisfactory. Among the many subordinative factors in this regard, the consciousness in terms of value and affection are the lowest two, and the conscousness regarding basic skills is found the highest; (2) students’ professional skills consciousness drops linearly from sophomores, juniors through to seniors, which is characterized by a drastic decrease in respects of the consciousnesses concerning participation, cognition and basic skills; (3) the chief differences are largely found in respects of consciousnesses concerning their affection, value and cognition.
