Abstract:
With aluminum foil acid, aluminum salt and calcium aluminate powder as main ingredient, and ferrous acid as additives, the polyaluminum ferric chloride (PAFC) was synthesized via one-step acid-soluble method. Multi-factor orthogonal experiment was applied to study the influence of feed temperature, iron dropping time and holding time upon the products’ aluminum content, basicity and COD,the removal of wastewater COD, TP and turbidity. The results show that the holding time most drastically affects the product’s aluminum content, basicity and COD, effect of feed temperature on removal efficiency of the turbidity is most obvious. The iron dropping time has little effect on the product’s aluminum content, COD and turbidity removal.
