Abstract: hANG Da-qian took tradition as root and on this basis, he made great effort in innovation. In his life, he explored the expression of light language in Chinese painting. Thus he achieved the transformation of such kind of painting from its traditional type to the modern one. This proves the vital force of Chinese painting. And it is one of his great achievements in fine arts.
