Abstract: After LONG Yun became the governor of Yunnan, he proposed the new aim of building new Yunnan. Afterwards, he started the province - wide movement of new education, which involved the reform in education administration, education budget, school education and social education. This exerted great influence on all aspects of social life in Yunnan.
