Abstract: Research into the significance for the sorting out and categorization of the ethnic minorities traditional sports and the discovery of their traditional sports can not only bring convenience for reader consultation and use of the resources thus to better protect the traditional sports items and culture of the ethnic minorities, but also do good to unifying the ethnic students, strengthening the spread of traditional culture, enriching the teaching resources of a school, stepping up the building of people-centeredness. It can also serve as a good source of scientific guidance for future teaching of the ethnic traditional sports and the P.E. teaching on the whole.
