Abstract: Abstract: By methods like questionaires, interviews of specialists and mathematical statistics, a survey was made about the lesure sports activities of different social communities among the city in-service participants in Neijiang. The results show that the major variables that play a decisive role in people’s choice of leisure sports include their gender, age,profession, education and monthly income, which is in confirmation of the fact that there exists a difference and characteristics of the times among the leisure sports participants of different social communities.And it is hoped that the findings could serve as a reference for the development of the leisure sports industry in regions with a similar level of economic development.
